ABOUT
The Venango VNA Foundation is a private and nonprofit corporation that raises funds to assist Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County patients who don’t have the resources to pay for home health care services and to underwrite numerous community programs and projects.
Our goal is to support the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County in the following ways: funding for patients in need, purchasing patient equipment, and charity care.
We do more than just support patients. We also are involved in our community’s youth. The following are bereavement camps that are funded through the Foundation: Camp Good Grief, Horses for Healing, and Hope for the Holidays. All camps are open to any child/youth in the area who is coping with grief.
THE COLLINS HOUSE
The Collins House is a 3-bedroom home that provides a safe and comfortable living environment for end of life care VNA hospice patients. At the house, each resident has a comfortable living environment in a home-like setting. The house is staffed 24/7 along with the VNA Hospice Interdisciplinary Team providing individualized care to each resident. At our home, we welcome friends and family to visit their loved one.
