The Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County is pleased to invite your child(ren) to participate in our 30th Annual Camp Good Grief program, sponsored by our Venango VNA Foundation. As the largest bereavement camp in Venango County, Camp Good Grief provides a day of healing strictly for children and teens who are grieving the death of a loved one.

Please join us at 8:00 am on Thursday, June 13th, at Seneca Hills Bible Conference (276 Damascus Rd. Polk, PA 16342). The day will be filled with activities such as coping with grief workshops, crafts, and ziplining through the woods! The camp will conclude with a memorial service ending at 4:00 pm.

We are excited to host Camp Good Grief at Seneca Hills Bible Conference, where we will utilize their facility to the fullest. From ziplining to climbing the rock wall, there will be activities for everyone. This year’s theme is “Shine a light on Grief” where we will share memories of our loved ones and gain tools to use in our grief.

Price: TBD

Applications: TBD

The campers will have an opportunity to learn more about grief, learn to grow beyond their losses, and participate in many group activities. Each camper will be assigned to a small group of campers of similar ages, along with adult volunteer counselors in each group who will be responsible for them. All staff and volunteer counselors have mandated clearances on file.

Please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions or would like additional information. You can contact us at 814-432-6555.
